If there’s one thing to take away from the current incredible demand for the Google Nexus 7, that is great specs alone won’t sell a tablet. Cutting-edge specs must be accompanied by an affordable price point. Hoping to successfully apply this model, Chinese juggernaut Lenovo is now offering the IdeaPad S2110 tablet at a very attractive introductory price.
The IdeaPad S2110 is one of the better looking Android tablets available in the market. Coupled with the impressive specs and docking ability, looks like Lenovo has a winner on its hand.
The tab comes with a 10.1-inch IPS HD display, a dual-core 1.5GHz Snapdragon S4 processor, 16GB internal storage, and 1GB of RAM. It also sports a 5MP rear camera with autofocus and LED flash, 1.3MP HD front-facing camera, Bluetooth 4.0, WiFi b/g/n, GPS, micro HDMI port, and Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich.
Like Asus’ shape-shifting Transformer series, you can get an optional keyboard docking station for the IdeaPad S2110. Not only will it add 10 more hours of battery life, but it also comes with two USB ports and 3-in-1 SD card reader. The best part? It only costs $50, or about a third of the price of the docking stations offered by Asus.
The IdeaPad S2110 is now available from Lenovo’s website for $350, while the 32GB model can be had for $375. Note that it’s a promotional price that may end soon. If you fancy getting the tablet and keyboard docking combo, it’s offered for $400 – slashed from its original $570 price.
Seems like a good deal, yes?
